I knew the moment I sat down with Natasha that we were going to hit it off. Newly engaged and excited to talk all things decor she excitedly shared her ideas with me and we sat together to hatch a plan to bring a white sequin wonderland to the west coast of our beautiful province.
With three other events in the books in St. John's on the same weekend, and the assistance of the amazingly efficient staff at Humber Valley Resort, I decided to make the trip out on my own for the set up. The room was initially set for Natasha and Colin's intimate ceremony with family and friends, and then transformed into the reception set up for the bevvy and boogie portion of the evening.
I was just cluing up my work when I heard rumblings of the bride and groom making a very special entrance to their reception. So I decided to stick around to get a couple snaps and boy am I glad I did (even if I was late for my dad's birthday dinner - sorry Dad)!
Every now and then you get the pleasure of working with a client who feels like an instant friend. Thanks to Natasha and her handsome new hubby, Colin for entrusting their wedding design to us here at Borrowed & Blu. Cheers!
